This Man Can Make Cakes With Complicated Dress Design

Nguyen Vu Hoang Anh, suddenly went viral on social media after making a miniature cake of a royal dress that looked very elegant. The results of this royal dress design cake received a lot of praise from netizens.

Reporting from the Oddity Central page, Vu Hoang Anh, one of Vietnam's most talented and creative cake artists, has been known for its distinctive cake shaped like a miniature aristocrat dress, complete with small folding details.

The 34-year-old cake maker can make miniature cakes of a royal dress using a layered bolu cake bottom combined with buttercream and chocolate. Then, covered with a colored fondant coating formed by hand into a complicated form of European royal dress.

Several years ago, Nguyen Vu Hoang Anh started working on dresses in the form of a dress as a personal challenge. He is quite good at shaping quindants into flowers, leaves, plants, and cartoon characters, Hoang Anh quickly finds out he needs more than a cake-making skill to make royal dresses.

"To make a realistic dress, I have to research everything starting from how to fold a cloth, how to fold a fifth, trim a waist, sew a button, and then adjust the technique to the ingredients used to make cakes," said Hoang Anh.

Making afundant that looks like a soft cloth is not the easiest thing. Nguyen Vu Hoang Anh usually spends between 3 and 5 days finishing one of his iconic dress cakes.

Every small detail is made by hand, from folding on dresses to small accessories and final painting work. It is this tiring process that makes this royal dress design cake expensive.

The average price of each cake in the form of a royal dress ranges from 3.5 million VND (Rp. 2.1 million rupiah) to 5 million Vietnam or Rp. 3.1 million, depending on the complexity and design," said Hoang Anh.

"This is a handmade product, every small detail is carefully made. So, the price is higher than ordinary cakes." he added.
