Dasco Denies The Issue Of The Chairman Of The Gerindra Faction Of The DPR Becomes A Candidate For Deputy Minister Or Head Of The Agency

JAKARTA - The daily chairman of the Gerindra Party DPP, Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, dismissed the issue of the chairman of the Gerindra faction of the DPR RI, Budisatrio Djiwandono, becoming a candidate for deputy minister (wamen) or head of the agency who met with Elect President Prabowo Subianto this Tuesday.

"Help me," said Dasco on Jalan Kertanegara, South Jakarta, Tuesday, October 15, as reported by Antara.

Meanwhile, Dasco revealed that there will be more candidates for cabinet officials, both deputy ministers and heads of agencies, who today meet with Elected President Prabowo Subianto than on Monday, October 14.

"I haven't counted how many, but later because it's in one ministry with two nominations, there's one. There's more than one, a lot," said Dasco.

Dasco explained that many of the candidates for deputy ministers and heads of agencies who met Prabowo today came from professionals, and were indeed nominated for later consideration as cabinet officials for the next five years.

"So, indeed, the proposals from political parties, both ministers, heads of agencies, and deputy ministers are more than professionals," he said.

Meanwhile, for the two ministerial candidates who are rumored to be meeting with Prabowo this Tuesday, Dasco said that all parties should wait and see later.

Previously, as many as 49 figures who were referred to as ministerial candidates were invited to meet Prabowo at his home, on Jalan Kartanegara, South Jakarta, Monday, October 14.

They were summoned to be placed in the post position of the ministry that Prabowo had prepared. The figures consisted of politicians, academics, and ministers from the era of President Joko Widodo.
