Muhammadiyah Security Abdul Mu'ti Asked Prabowo To Be Minister Of Education, Accommodated By The Deputy Minister

JAKARTA - General Secretary of Muhammadiyah Central Executive Abdul Mu'ti was asked by Elected President Prabowo Subianto to lead the Ministry of Elementary and Secondary Education.

"Earlier, Pak Prabowo conveyed that he gave me the mandate to lead the Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education and God willing, I was accompanied by a deputy minister," said Mu'tidi as reported by ANTARA, Monday, October 14.

In his meeting with Prabowo, he stated that he was ready to accept the mandate.

Prabowo, said Mu'ti, said that in order to advance Indonesian education because education is actually the key to building the nation.

In line with Prabowo, Mu'ti also stated that she wanted to make education a movement to educate advanced Indonesia Raya.

"Earlier he conveyed several things for how I can work as well as possible. I was joking earlier, there is no need for rhyme, right now because the rhyme has been conveyed when you conveyed your vision and mission at Muhammadiyah Surabaya," he said.

Asked about the Ministry of Education and Culture which will be broken down, Mu'ti stated that she did not know anything and was only given the mandate to become Minister of Basic and Secondary Education.

"I don't know, but I was given the mandate by him to become Minister of Basic and Secondary Education," he said.

President-elect Prabowo Subianto summoned a number of figures who are believed to be ministerial candidates for the new government in the future to his private residence of Jalan Kertanegara Number 4, Jakarta, Monday afternoon, to deliver their direct assignments and provide directions.

The names of figures who are believed to have been assigned as ministers and came to Prabowo's residence include Prasetyo Hadi, Sugiono, Widiyanti Putri Wardhana, Natalius Pigai, Yandri Susanto, and Fadli Zon.
