Denmark Open 2024: Indonesia Sends 9 Representatives

JAKARTA Indonesia sent nine representatives who will play at the Denmark Open 2024 this week. The representatives are only in four sectors.

The Super 750 BWF level tournament will take place from Tuesday, October 15, 2024, to Sunday, October 20, 2024.

The only sector that is confirmed to be absent from this event is the women's doubles. Previously, at the 2024 Arctic Open last week, this sector also did not send representatives.

At the time at the Arctic, Indonesia returned without a single title from nine representatives who played in the BWF Super 500 level event.

Jonathan Christie as the only representative who reached the final round had to settle for being runner-up after losing to China Taipei's singles, Chou Tien Chen.

Men's doubles is the sector with the most representatives at the Denmark Open 2024. This number sends a total of three pairs.

The pairs that came down were Leo Rolly Carnando/Bagas Maulana, Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Rian Ardianto, and Hendra Setiawan/Mohammad Ahsan.

Meanwhile, three other sectors, namely men's singles, women's singles, and mixed doubles, each have two representatives of this tournament.

Of the men's and women's singles who came down were Jonatan Christie and Anthony Sinisuka Ginting and Gregoria Mariska Tunjung and Putri Kusuma Wardani.

The two pairs in the mixed doubles are Rehan Naufal Kusharjanto/Lisa Ayu Kusumawati and Rinov Rivaldy/Pitha Haningtyas Mentari.
