3 French Citizens Deported For Participating In The Pilbup Campaign At Gayo Lues
BANDA ACEH - Three foreign nationals (WNA) from France were detained by the Immigration Class 3 Non TPI Central Aceh, Aceh, on Sunday, October 13 after being caught attending the campaign of one of the candidates for regent Gayo Lues, some time ago.
The three of them will be sent home (deported) by the Central Aceh Immigration. The residence permit of one of the French nationals in Indonesia has even expired.
The three foreigners from France had the initials YB (33), MB (35), and BAJP (75). They claimed to have come to Gayo Lues Regency as buyers or buyers of nylam oil.
After being questioned by the Immigration Office, the three of them will be deported, for abusing their residence permit and carrying out local political activities without permission. YB's residence permit has even expired for 10 days.

The three of them were subject to immigration administrative action in the form of deportation and inclusion in the list of prevention and delinquency in accordance with Article 75 paragraph (2) letters A and F of Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 6 of 2011 concerning Immigration.
Head of the Central Aceh Immigration Office, Hamdani, said that his party would continue to carry out control operations in his area to ensure that foreigners have residence permits according to their designation. The Central Aceh Immigration Office covers four districts, namely Central Aceh Regency, Bener Meriah Regency, Gayo Lues Regency, and Southeast Aceh Regency.
