Pramono Promises To Build Parking Building Unravel Congestion In Senopati

JAKARTA - Candidate for governor of DKI number 3 Pramono Anung promised to build a parking building to unravel congestion in the Senopati and Gunawarman areas, South Jakarta by utilizing the land available in the area.

"Why don't we make parking services (valets) like that," said Pramono at the Ngopi Bareng Mas Pram event in Jakarta as reported by ANTARA, Saturday, October 12.

He assessed that congestion in the area would not be resolved if there were still cars parked on the side of the two roads.

Therefore, if he is elected, he will build a parking building in the Senopati and Gunawarman areas.

The reason is that in that area there is land owned by PT. Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro) which covers 8,000 meters. Then, the Blok S area also has a school with an area of almost one hectare.

"If later made there, then there should no longer be a car parked on the side of the road," he said.

In addition, the existence of the parking building will open new jobs and new sources of income for the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government.

Pramono emphasized that to lead Jakarta must be full of breakthroughs.

"It can't be done in a conventional way just then spending time enjoying his position," he said.

In addition, Pramono wants to free 15 groups that are currently taking free Transjakarta, so that they can also free ride the MRT and LRT.

These 15 groups include ASN in the DKI Provincial Government, owner of the Jakarta Smart Card, residents of simple rented flats (rusunawa), the driving team for Family Welfare Empowerment (PKK).
