Number Of Residents Killed In Gaza As A Result Of Israeli Attack Now Reaches 42,126 People
JAKARTA - A total of 42,126 Palestinians have been killed and 98,117 others injured since Israel launched its war in Gaza on October 7.
In the past 24 hours, an Israeli attack on the Gaza Strip killed 61 people and injured 231 people, the ministry reported on Thursday, October 10.
Meanwhile, the Director-General of the World Health Organization (WHO), Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus announced that almost no health services remain in northern Gaza because Israel still prohibits entry to aid missions to the region.
Tedros revealed two WHO missions for northern Gaza were blocked and again rejected by the Israeli occupation.
"We urge Israel to stop evacuation orders and protect hospitals," the Director-General said in an upload on X. North Gaza barely has any health services left. People have no place to go.
