Prabowo Calls The Selection Process For Ministerial Candidates Has Been Running For A Long Time

JAKARTA - Elected President Prabowo Subianto said the fit and proper test of ministerial candidates for his future government had been going on for a long time.

"Actually, the process has been going on for a long time. The leaders of the coalition parties proposed the names that we will study," Prabowo said as quoted by ANTARA, Friday, October 11.

In addition to monitoring, Prabowo has also often discussed the capabilities of the proposed ministerial candidates with his team.

Prabowo said that from the names of ministerial candidates that had been received, there were many figures who were known to have more capabilities.

"I have to admit, there are a lot of things that have been submitted that are very good, very capable, and we have been monitoring some (names) for a long time," he said.

Previously, Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, said that the team from Prabowo Subianto was processing the names that would be included in his cabinet.

Later, said Dasco, there will be a kind of fit and proper test of these names.

"The first is of course asked for biodata, then profiling, then finalization. Later there will be a profit and proper test. Even though it has been carried out by the team, Pak Prabowo will direct it for face-to-face sessions, and then in the finalization stage," he said.
