Husband Who Went Viral Aniaya's Wife In Banjarmasin Because Of Children's Rebuttal Was Arrested By The Police

BANJARMASIN - The Banjarmasin Police Tiger Team in the ranks of the South Kalimantan Police arrested a husband with the initials FR (34) who went viral because he was suspected of molesting his wife.

"The perpetrator and the victim no longer live at home but from reports of abuse and viral videos in the community," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Banjarmasin Police, AKP Eru Elsepa, as reported by ANTARA, Friday, October 11.

Eru said the incident of abuse against the victim was known from the report that occurred on Saturday (5/10) night, at around 20.30 WITA.

The persecution took place on Jalan Kampung Melayu Gang Gotong Royong, precisely at the perpetrator's house, Seberang Masjid Village, Central Banjarmasin District.

Eru also said that according to the information obtained, the victim came to the perpetrator's house to take his son.

Arriving at home, there was a fight between the child between the victim and the perpetrator, not long after, there was a verbal altercation and the perpetrator hit the victim in the left eye and nose which resulted in bruises and a bloody nose.

"For this incident, the victim reported, and not long after the persecution of the victim, the perpetrator was immediately arrested by the Police Tiger Team without a fight," he said.

Currently, the FR perpetrators have been taken to the Banjarmasin Police Satreskrim for further investigation and legal proceedings related to the alleged act of domestic violence.

"As a result of the investigation, we have named FR as a suspect and charged with Article 44 paragraph 1 of Law No. 23 of 2004 concerning Domestic Violence," he explained representing the Banjarmasin Police Chief Kombes Pol. Kuncun Kurniadi.
