Hyundai Genesis Drone Attraction Breaks New World Records

JAKARTA - The luxury car manufacturer, Hyundai Genesis, broke a new record using 3,281 drones that flew over the skies of Shanghai, China, on March 29. The drone attraction formed the Hyundai Genesis logo which officially paved in China.

As reported by The Verge, 3,281 drones that air simultaneously have been recognized as a new Guinness World Record, as quoted from the Genesis press release, reported on Monday, April 5.

"With this record-breaking drone performance, we are bringing our brand story and philosophy to life for many Chinese consumers. Soon, we will be bringing more inspiring Genesis experiences and products to consumers in China," said Genesis Motor China's Chief Executive Officer Markus Henne.

Genesis beat the previous record held by Shenzhen Damoda Intelligent Control Technology, which used 3,051 drones in a show on September 20.

In 2018, Intel also set a record by using 1,218 Shooting Star drones to make an Olympic ring over Pyeongchang for the Winter Olympics.
