Telegram Introduces Phone Number Verification Features For Business

JAKARTA - Telegram announced a new update that will allow businesses to use this platform to verify phone numbers. This is a more convenient solution than traditional methods like SMS. This new feature is aimed at helping businesses save the huge costs usually needed to verify user identities.

In its official blog, Telegram states that businesses, apps, or websites can now send verification codes via Telegram and pay fees in Fragment. Verification via Telegram is claimed to be faster, cheaper, safer, and more practical than SMS.

Users will receive a verification code in a dedicated chat in the app, and can copy the code with one tap to complete the verification process.
