Prabowo Berkeluran Will Use A Red Economy If Invited To A PDIP Event

JAKARTA - President-elect Prabowo Subianto joked about the color of the tie worn when invited to the PDI-P event.

"If invited, it will change the color red. This is called solidarity," Prabowo said while attending the PKB Legislative National Coordination Meeting in Jakarta as reported by ANTARA, Thursday, October 10.

Meanwhile, Prabowo previously said that he wore a green tie to come to the PKB event.

"I received an official guest from abroad. So, I wore a suit. Suddenly there was this event, so all I changed was the tie, because NU turned green," he explained.

Then, he joked by mentioning the party currently led by Megawati Soekarnoputri.

"I don't know when PDIP invited. This is not asking to be invited," he said to laughter from the audience.

Previously, there was a discourse on a meeting between the 5th President Megawati and Prabowo. President Joko Widodo had responded to the discourse.

"I think the meeting was good so that the communication between national figures could continue for the progress of the country, for the progress of the nation," said President Jokowi when giving a press statement after visiting the Kefamenanu Hospital, North Central Timor, East Nusa Tenggara, Wednesday (2/10).
