AHY Consults To SBY To Choose A Ministerial Candidate

JAKARTA - Secretary General (Secretary General) of the Democrats Teuku Riefky Harsya said Democratic Chairman Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) consulted with the 6th President of the Republic of Indonesia Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) as Chairman of the Democratic Party High Council to elect a candidate for minister from the Democrats.

"Indeed, Mr. SBY is no longer in practical politics but consulting, then (AHY) also reports that developments will certainly be carried out regularly as well," Teuku said as quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, October 10.

However, he was reluctant to mention the number of ministerial seats that would be obtained by the party bearing the "merce star".

According to Teuku, this is still in the process of being finalized by Prabowo Subianto as the Elected President.

"Of course as president, we also have the prerogative to continue to communicate. So just be patient waiting for further news," he said.

In addition, according to him, so far the ministry's posts or nomenclature and numbers are still in the discussion stage.

In addition, Teuku said that in the near future there will be a meeting between President-elect Prabowo Subianto and the 6th President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono. However, he said the meeting would not discuss the composition of the cabinet.

He also has not confirmed the presence of SBY in the inauguration agenda of Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka on October 20.

"What we know is that Pak SBY's relationship with Pak Prabowo is also quite good," he said.
