Army Chief Of Staff Ensures That The Inauguration Of The President And Vice President Runs Safely

JAKARTA - Army Chief of Staff (KSAD) General TNI Maruli Simanjuntak ensures that the inauguration procession for the elected president and vice president at the parliament building, Senayan on October 20 runs safely.

This was said by Maruli because until now his party has not seen a wave or movement that has the potential to create an unsafe situation during the inauguration.

"So we have read almost no strength," said Maruli after attending the handover of Danrem and Dandim in the West Jakarta area, Thursday, October 10.

According to Maruli, his party will only carry out normal security during the inauguration process.

He did not mention how many personnel would be deployed for the security process.

Not only security in the parliament building, Maruli ensured that his staff would also provide security during the process at the palace during the process of separating from the president of the Republic of Indonesia.

"There are no things that are too prominent about it. Hopefully it will run smoothly later," Maruli told the media crew.

Previously, the elected president and vice president Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka will be sworn in as president and vice president on Sunday (20/10).

The inauguration procession will be held at the DPR and MPR buildings and witnessed by all members of the legislature.

After that, Prabowo and Gibran are planned to go to the Presidential Palace to take part in the welcoming procession with President Joko Widodo (Jokowi).
