Hanni NewJeans Ready To Witness Bullying In The Entertainment Industry

JAKARTA - Hanni NewJeans personally confirmed that she would testify at the Parliament Labor Committee Meeting which takes place next week. She was invited by the South Korean Environment and Labor Committee to testify to bullying in the entertainment industry.

Hanni is not required to attend but he announced through the NewJeans fan-only community application, Phoning.

"I decided! I will go to the Committee Meeting! I will go alone," Hanni wrote quoting JoongAng Daily.

"Don't worry. I did it for myself, my member, and for Bunnies (NewJeans fans). I went for Bunnies. I'm not afraid. I want to go," he said.

He explained that it took a long time to decide to attend the meeting but he was sure what his decision would be. The agency does not yet know Hanni's decision.

"Managers and companies don't know yet. I have a lot of considerations but I think it's very appropriate to attend," said Hanni.

"I'm not sure about the results but I believe this experience could be a valuable opportunity," he continued.

Furthermore, Hanni said that she was grateful for the support of fans so far. She hopes fans don't have to regret her and NewJeans who are struggling with this situation.

"I want to tell Bunnies first! You don't know how much support you have. Passing this situation made me realize. For those who support me, I am very grateful," continued Hanni.

"I never asked to 'Please support me' but I think someone who supports me from anywhere, close or far, is more than enough. Even though we didn't ask, you did it for us. I am very grateful!" said Hanni.

"So supporting you means you don't need to feel guilty. Don't! Don't worry! Really don't worry!" Hanni concluded.

Last month, NewJeans held a live broadcast to voice support for former CEO of ADOR, Min Hee Jin in the midst of a conflict with HYBE. Hanni said he had tried to greet a group but the group's manager asked the group to ignore Hanni.

The BELIFT LAB, which opened its voice, said ILLIT and its manager had not done so, although Hanni did not mention the group in question.

Recently, two mothers of NewJeans members criticized the new HYBE and CEO of ADOR, Kim Ju Young. They questioned neutrality when the CCTV video of the incident was deleted according to agency claims.
