Trying SODI Kart RT 8 On Gokart Avenue, Offers Karaious Excitement
JAKARTA - Many do not realize that Gokart is not just entertainment, but is also a motorsport sport that has great potential to train driving skills and for anyone interested in trying car racing.
Gokart machines are generally light and compact, but still able to provide enough energy for a thrilling racing experience. Gokart itself is also equipped with various security features to be safe for novice and professional drivers to use.
Indonesian drift racer, Ziko Harnadi, said that Gokart could be the first step to improve basic driving skills, such as steering techniques.

Ziko, who has won the 2024 South East Asia Championship D1GP, added that consistency in training will help shape beneficial muscle memory, both in the world of racing and when driving on a daily basis.
"Automatically if it is consistent, the skills will be carried away," he added.

Gokart Avenue itself is a new place located in Lebak Bulus, Jakarta. The area stands on an area of 4,000 m2. Interestingly, the gokart used is from the SODI Kart RT 8 which is produced in France.
Regarding the SODI Kart RT 8 used on Gokart Avenue, this model is equipped with additional security features that help protect negotiators during the race, equipped with a Honda GX 270 engine with a capacity of 390 cc, using gasoline and providing qualified performance for various trajectories.

On the same occasion, Alex, one of the representatives from SODI, also revealed the advantages of the model used in this Gokart venue. He said SODI Kart RT 8 is known to be tough and also used in Europe.
"This RT8 Kart SODI is very strong, and its safety level is also good and is also used in Europe," he said.
In the background, the concept of the Gokart Avenue arena does have differences compared to other arenas. Starting from track conditions that use good quality asphalt, online timing systems, to various circuit layouts that can be adjusted to needs.
Speaking of the character of the Gokart Avenue circuit, for the Rookie category the manager has prepared a track length of 210 meters with a total of 12 corners. As for the Expert category layout, the track length is made to 310 meters with 16 corners.
Regarding the rental fee on Gokart Avenue, it is around Rp. 150,000 for adults. Meanwhile, children Rp. 125,000. Later consumers will be given a quota of approximately 5-10 minutes with an estimated 15 rounds. In addition, consumers are also provided with helmets, gloves, and balaclava.
