Israeli Attack On Jabalya Refugee Camp Kills 16 People
JAKARTA - It was reported that 16 people were killed and 17 injured following an attack on a hospital in a Jabalya refugee camp in northern Gaza.
Dr Hussam Abu Saifiya, director of Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza, told CNN 16 bodies were already in hospital.
Abu Saifiya said the tents that were erected in the courtyard of Al-Sa'eed Al-Yaman Hospital were targeted.
Kamal Adwan Hospital is the only fully functioning medical facility left in northern Gaza. The hospital, along with two other hospitals north of the enclave, has been ordered to be vacated by the Israeli military, according to Doctors Without Borders and the Ministry of Health in Gaza.
On Sunday, the IDF said it surrounded the Jabalya refugee camp after they detected the presence of Hamas members there.
