Maliq & D'Essentials Will Show 25 Songs On The Album Tur Can Machines Fall In Love?

JAKARTA - Maliq & D Essentials is one of Indonesia's music groups that has often appeared in music events in recent years, both on a local and national scale.

They are preparing for a bigger step than just appearing on stage. Angga cs will start the album tour of Can Machines Fall In Love? (CMFIL?) with the opening show in Makassar on October 18.

Sarah Deshita as Jagjag Studio Co-Founder, who collaborated with Northstar Entertainment in organizing this tour, will carry the spirit of Madness In Every City! (Crazy in Every City).

Maliq & D Essentials certainly performed differently from their appearance on another stage. Around 25 songs were prepared to be sung with the audience present.

"Other hit songs and b-sides songs will be present for approximately two and a half hours," said Sarah Deshita during a press conference in Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, Wednesday, October 9.

The concept of a stage is also made different from what has been shown before, considering that visits to every city are a special moment in celebrating the 20th anniversary of the journey of Maliq & D Essentials in music.

Groups with Angga Puradiredja (vocals), Indah Wisnuwardhana (vocals), Lale (guitar), Ilman Ibrahim (keyboards), Java (bass), and Widi Puradiredja (drums) have also confirmed their readiness to start the tour.

"Tour preparations are almost complete. We have determined the setlist from the results of questions on social media, combined with selected songs that have been prepared," said Widi.

"We have also put together detailed things such as stage, visual, and lighting designs, so that they can sync with the music," he continued.

Currently, Angga cs is practicing intensely for the 25 songs they will perform, consisting of 7 tracks for the album Can Machine's Fall In Love? and the rest come from the 1s (2005) to Raya (2021) albums.

On tours covering Makassar, Bali, Surabaya, Yogyakarta, and Bandung, Maliq & D Essentials also opens opportunities for creative people in every city to be directly involved.

"Basically we and the team are very open to all input from the audience, for the success of the Maliq's single concert in the city. Of course, while still prioritizing the concept that has been crafted by Maliq & D Essentials," concluded Dimasz Joey, Creative Director of MAD Haus.
