Heavy rain with rainfall of more than 5.0 mm per hour is predicted to flush the cities of Jakarta and Mamuju with temperatures ranging from 24-31 degrees Celsius.
In the forecast for rain accompanied by lightning, it will occur in the cities of Banda Aceh, Medan, Padang, Tanjung Pinang, Tanjung Selor with temperatures ranging from 24-32 degrees Celsius.
Meanwhile, for the cities of Bandung, Yogyakarta, Kupang, Denpasar, Sorong, Manokwari, Jambi, Pangkal Pinang, Palembang, Serang, Semarang, Surabaya, Mataram, and Makassar, it is predicted to be sunny, foggy, and thick cloudy, throughout the day with temperatures ranging from 25-30 degrees Celsius.
The BMKG forecaster explained that cyclonic circulation was observed in the South China Sea west of Vietnam which formed a wind speed deceleration area, which also extends in the Malacca Strait, Riau, Karimata Strait, West Kalimantan, Central Papua, to Cenderawasih Bay.
Also observed wind gatherings such as in the Indian Ocean in the western part of Aceh and the Banda Sea which increases the potential for rain clouds along the convergence area.
