Atta Halilintar Called Investigators Regarding The Ex-Service Case Threatening Journalists

JAKARTA - PLH Kasie Humas Polres Metro South Jakarta, AKP Nurma Dewi said that the investigators had summoned Atta Halilintar regarding the case of a former bodyguard who threatened reporters some time ago.

A summons has been sent, Atta Halilintar was asked to attend today, Tuesday, October 8 at 09.00 WIB.

"A letter has been sent, for the time at 09.00 WIB," explained Nurma Dewi at her office, Tuesday, October 8.

Atta's summons himself to be asked for clarification as a witness regarding the incident. Unfortunately, until this article was raised there has been no sign of his presence.

"That's right, the investigators called to ask for information, but investigators are still waiting for Atta's presence," added Nurma Dewi.

Previously, Deolipa Yumara, attorney for the Alliance of Video Journalists, reported Agung, a former bodyguard of Atta Halilintar to the police on suspicion of threats.

He reported Agung with allegations of threats and intimidation as well as violations of the Press Law

"So today, Thursday (September 5), from the Alliance of Video Journalists (AJV), the reporter is Christin Pratomo, he reported allegations of threats and intimidation as well as violations of the Press Law, according to the Criminal Code Article 336 Paragraph (1) and the press law, namely Article 18 number 40 of 1999," explained Deolipa.

"So what we are reporting is someone, allegedly named Agung (the organizer of Atta Halilintar), it was reported that there had been threats at the South Jakarta Police against the media crew," he said.
