Sandiaga Uno Gives A Signal That He Will Not Continue To Be A Minister In Prabowo's Cabinet, This Is What He Said
JAKARTA - The Joko Widodo (Jokowi) government will soon change along with the inauguration of the President and Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming on October 20.
So, will the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy (Menparekraf) Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno return to fill the same position in the next government cabinet?
Responding to this, Menparekraf Sandiaga said it was the prerogative of the elected president.
"This is the prerogative of the president and I have said many times that we have prepared technological and transitional steps to resolve to the next minister," Sandiaga said in response to VOI's questions on The Weekly Brief with Sandi Uno's agenda online, Monday, October 7.
However, Sandiaga had given a signal that he would not continue in Prabowo's cabinet. This is because the man who is familiarly called Sandi said that the white shirt of the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy he usually wears is likely to be the last to be worn today.
"This is my white shirt just sent apparently, this is new. In fact, I only have two weeks left. This white shirt is hopefully auctioned off, later the funds can be helped for our brothers and sisters in need," said Sandi.
"So, good job to the next minister. The spirit of gaspol," he added.
For your information, the inauguration of the president and vice president of the Republic of Indonesia for the period 2024-2029 will be held on Sunday, October 20, 2024.
