Ten Hag Doesn't Know He Wants To Be Fired, Manchester United Prepares Thomas Tuchel
JAKARTA - The latest news is that Manchester United has appointed Thomas Tuchel as a candidate to replace Erik ten Hag.
Manchester United officials have cast doubt on the Dutch's ability to continue this season's journey.
The Red Devils top brass will meet Ten Hag on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, to determine the manager's future.
Results that have not improved since the beginning of the season are a factor that Manchester United officials are furious.
Most recently, they only earned one point when they visited Aston Villa (0-0) in the seventh week of the 2024/2025 Premier League.

Previously, several names emerged as candidates to replace Ten Hag, namely Gareth Southgate, Thomas Tuchel, Ruud van Nistelrooy, and Graham Potter. However, according to The Sun, Manchester United are likely to make a choice on Tuchel.
Although the issue of his dismissal surfaced and was widely discussed, Ten Hag admitted that he did not know his job was in danger.
"So I don't know anything. They should have told me. We communicated very openly, very transparently."
"Saya terus berbicara dengan mereka. Setelah pertandingan saya harus melakukan pekerjaan saya, berbicara dengan para pemain, mengatur para pemain, dan menjawab pertanyaan dari Anda (jurnalis)."
"We always talk. Every week, I would say we talk every day. So I hope I will talk to them," Ten Hag said after the match against Aston Villa.
The Red Devils had their worst start in the Premier League with just eight points from seven matches.
They are currently in 14th position in the standings, 10 points adrift of leaders Liverpool.
Fans are now demanding that Ten Hag be fired. Meanwhile, Manchester United's shareholder, Sir Jim Radcliffe, declined to publicly support him.
Manchester United also never won in the 2024/2205 Europa League after the series against FC Twenty (1-1) and Porto (3-3).
