343 Industries Rebranding To Be Halo Studios, All Halo Games Now Use Unreal Engine 5
JAKARTA - Studio pengembangan gim 343 Industries mengumumkan telah mengubah namanya (rebranding) menjadi Halo Studios, dan mengalihkan semua pengembangan gim mendatang ke Unreal Engine 5.
At Halo World Championship 2024, they feature footage of Project Foundry, a technology demonstration showing off the Halo game created on Unreal Engine 5, which shows three different environments and the main characters of the Master Chief series.
This new graphics engine marks the shift from the studio's Slipspace Engine, which was created for Halo Infinite in 2021, the latest game in the franchise.
If you really outline Halo, there are two very different chapters. Chapter 1 Bungie. Chapter 2 343 Industries. So, we will not only try to improve development efficiency, but also change recipes for the way we make the game Halo," Pierre Hintze, Head of Studio in his announcement.
Developers also carry out reorganization and expansion, forming several teams to work on various Halo games simultaneously.

Halo Studios will operate under the leadership of Pierre Hintze and Elizabeth Van Wyck, who joined after the departure of then General Manager totaling Ross in 2022, and veterans of the Joseph Staten series in 2023.
"Today, it's the first step we're showing Foundry because it feels right to do it we want to explain our plans to Halo fans, and bring exciting new developers to our team. The next step is to talk about the game itself," added Hintze.
