Vietjet Airlines Encourage Environmentally Friendly Flights With Energy Saving Technology

JAKARTA - The airline from Vietnam, Vietjet, has collaborated with Honeywell Aerospace Technologies based in the United States to provide environmentally friendly flight services.

This environmentally friendly flight is related to technical avionics and aviation for the modern fleet of fuel-efficient aircraft.

In his collaboration, Vietjet took advantage of Honeywell's avionic and Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) maintenance programs for wide-body A330neo aircraft as well as a new generation of narrow-body aircraft.

This collaboration also includes the use of the Honeywell Flight Efficiency solution, which aims to reduce emissions and monitor fuel efficiency throughout the Vietjet fleet.

State-of-the-art technology from Honeywell will play an important role in improving our services to passengers," said Vietjet Chief Executive Officer, Dinh Viet Phuong, as quoted by Antara.

Representative of Honeywell Aerospace Technologies, Joseph Vitulli, stated that his party continues to develop and implement various solutions to reduce carbon footprint.

This solution allows airlines such as Vietjet to optimize fuel consumption by analyzing aircraft performance and sharing the best practices in all operations.
