Semarang City DPRD Members Allegedly Bancakan Project
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is investigating the involvement of a number of members of the Semarang City DPRD, Central Java in a corruption case at the Semarang City Government. They are suspected of having a project.
"Indeed, we will explore several parties. There is indeed a connection in that direction because the procurement is related to several commissions," said KPK Investigation Director Asep Guntur Rahayu to reporters quoted on Monday, October 7.
"This reason then led investigators to summon a number of legislators in the city of Semarang," continued Asep. However, he still hasn't informed the project that is being filed.
The legislators who have been questioned by the anti-corruption commission include the Chairman of the Semarang City DPRD Kadar Lusman, Deputy Chairman of Commission D of the Semarang DPRD Rahmulyo Adi Widodo, and Chairman of Commission A of the Semarang DPRD Meidiana Kuswara.
"So indeed we ask for information from members of the legislature in the Semarang DPRD. Of course, if we can't convey the content yet," he said.
