Additional Israeli Troops Deployed To Gaza Amid October 7 Attack Warning

JAKARTA - The Israeli military strengthened troops near Gaza ahead of a ceremonial event marking a year since the Hamas-led attack on October 7 to southern Israel.

Additional troops have been deployed in the border community for defensive and offensive scenarios, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) said.

"The soldiers are fully equipped to defend the region through coordination with local security forces, Israeli Police, and Magen David Adom, ensuring a comprehensive response to any incidents that may arise," the IDF said.
