There Is A Quake On Planet Mars, NASA Robot Successfully Detects Marsquake
JAKARTA - Earthquakes are not only on Earth, Mars recently detected an earthquake. The Mars earthquake was detected by the InSight rover robot that was in one of the regions of Mars, Cerberus Fossae.
Previously, InSight (Interior Exploration using Seismic Investigations, Geodesy, and Heat Transport) was assigned to investigate the planet's internals by drilling the surface of the ground for scientists to study.
InSight has recorded two earthquakes in the region. NASA revealed that the Marsquake or Mars earthquake has a magnitude of 3.3 and 3.1 as compiled from SlashGear.
The new earthquake had a slightly smaller magnitude than the two previous earthquakes at the same location with a magnitude of 3.6 and 3.5. InSight has recorded more than 500 vibrations in its mission.
The detection of an earthquake on Mars is an opportunity for InSight to examine the interior of the planet Mars. The InSight research team is now studying the marsquake more intensely to gain insight into the planet's mantle and core.

Geologically, Mars is very different from Earth. The reason is, Mars does not have tectonic plates but only has an active volcanic area that causes earthquakes.
Two previous earthquakes were detected by the InSight robot on March 7 and March 18. This reinforces the idea of scientists who say that Cerberus Fossae is the center of seismic activity on the planet Mars.
So far, scientists have been studying the data sent by InSight have seen two different types of earthquakes, namely earthquakes that resemble earthquakes and earthquakes on the Moon.
New earthquakes also occured during the summer in the northern region of the planet Mars. Meanwhile, during winter, the InSight rover robot did not detect any earthquake activity.
