Kai Havertz Absent From Defending The German National Team Due To Injuries
JAKARTA - Arsenal striker Kai Havertz is confirmed to be absent from defending the German national team in two games during the October international break due to a knee injury.
"Kai Havertz will miss international matches against Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Netherlands due to knee problems," the German Football Federation (DFB) said on Sunday.
DFB revealed coach Julian Nagelsmann will call Mainz 05 player Jonathan Burkardt, as a substitute for Havertz.
Havertz has performed outstanding well this season by scoring six goals in 10 games for the Gunners in all competitions.
