Ridwan Kamil-Suswono's Focus On Jakarta, Strengthen Betawi Culture To Improve The Quality Of Human Resources

JAKARTA - The candidate pair (paslon) for governor and deputy governor of DKI Jakarta number 1, Ridwan Kamil-Suswono (RIDO) has a number of missions if elected later.

Both of them are trying to build Betawi culture in this city to improve the quality of human resources (HR). This was said by Ridwan Kamil in the Jakarta Pilkada Cagub-cawagub debate at JI-EXPO Kemayoran, Jakarta.

"Regarding cultural sustainability, Jakarta is indeed a node of all cultures, but Betawi culture as a local wisdom, of course we prioritize it by building it," said Ridwan Kamil as quoted by Antara.

For human resources (HR) in Jakarta, he continued, existing human resources must be ready to face global competition towards Indonesia gold 2045.

Regarding Generation Z, said Kang Emil, Ridwan Kamil's nickname, his party will work together with Generation Z in overcoming difficulties and expectations about cultural expression work.

"Protecting women and children as well as people with disabilities is certainly a spirit to provide protection," he said.

Regarding public transportation, it must be carried out thoroughly and must reach.

"So we hope that the sense of security and comfort before returning home is what we hope for," said Kang Emil.

Meanwhile, governance must be responsive and adaptive, not just services that are not only technical.

"But, we want to build trust in Jakarta residents in the new government," said Ridwan Kamil.

The DKI Jakarta General Election Commission (KPU) held the first debate for the candidate for governor and deputy governor of the 2024 DKI Jakarta Pilkada at the Jakarta International Expo (JIExpo), Kemayoran, Central Jakarta, Sunday night.

The debate participants were candidate pair for governor and deputy governor number 1 Ridwan Kamil-Suswono (RIDO), candidate pair number 2 Dharma Pongrekun-Kun Wardana (Dharma-Kun) and candidate pair number 3 Pramono Anung-Rano Karno (Pram-Doel).

The theme raised in the Jakarta Pilkada debate is 'Strengthening Human Resources and Transformation of Jakarta into a Global City'.

The vision, mission and work programs conveyed by each pair of candidates for governor and deputy governor of the DKI Jakarta Pilkada through this debate are expected to give consideration to voters on voting day on November 27, 2024.

The DKI Jakarta KPU has scheduled a second phase of the debate between the governor and deputy governor candidates in the Jakarta Pilkada on October 27, which will be followed by a third debate on November 17, 2024.
