Israel Documented To Have Committed 185 Violations To Palestinian Journalists During September
JAKARTA - Based on a media group report on Friday, October 4, during September Israel was documented for 185 violations against Palestinian journalists in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank.
According to ANTARA, Saturday, October 5, the Palestinian Journalist Syndicate said two journalists were killed by Israeli soldiers in September in Gaza and nine were injured by Israeli live ammunition in Gaza and the West Bank.
In addition, five people were detained from the West Bank. Then, there were 10 reported cases of army raids on media offices and journalists' homes, the group said.
As many as 23 journalists were also reported to have suffered from shortness of breath due to tear gas while covering Israeli attacks, while 67 people were banned from conducting media coverage across the West Bank.
The Israeli army closed Al Jazeera, a Qatar-based media office, in Ramallah and confiscated its equipment. The Israeli army also destroyed Radio Nas equipment in Jenin and 11 media companies.
