BMW Indonesia Supports The 2024 Jakarta Arts Event By Presenting These Two Models

JAKARTA - BMW Group Indonesia announced its becoming a strategic partner for Art Jakarta 2024. In this collaboration, the company presented two units of BMW X7 xDrive40i M Sport and three units of i5 eDrive40 M Sport as a means of mobility for VIPs.

This also provides a luxurious, innovative and sustainable experience for artists and visitors from one of the best performing arts events in Southeast Asia.

BMW Indonesia President Director Peter Medalla said this strategic partnership also demonstrates the company's commitment to the arts and culture that has been inherent in the company for more than 50 years.

"This collaboration is in line with BMW's global commitment to supporting art and culture as an important part of the company, even more than 50 years," Medalla said in a statement received on Saturday, October 5.

The Art Jakarta 2024 event lasted for three days, namely October 4-6 which took place at JIExpo Kemayoran, Jakarta. This event features a variety of contemporary works of art for visitors and art admirers.

One of the mobility vehicles from this event, BMW X7 has a sturdy but elegant appearance by featuring a manufacturer-type kidney grip and there is an innovative Iconic Glow' and separate headlights.

The flagship SUV from BMW also comes with a sport element of the M Sport package, consisting of 21-inch M rims and some fine exterior details.

Understanding this X7 is a 6-cylinder engine that is immediately coupled to a 48V mild-hybrid system producing 381 dk of power and 520 Nm of torque. This is also assisted by the transmission of eight advanced Sports Steptronic accelerations.

Then another model, BMW i5 eDrive40 M Sport has a premium sedan style that offers a different comfort typical of electric cars. With a length of 5,060 mm, a width of 1,900 mm, a height of 1,515 mm, and a wheelbase of 2,995 mm, i5 offers a wide space and maximum comfort for its users.

The exterior design of this car reflects sophistication, with BMW's headlights and Grills. 20-inch rim M aerodynamics wheels 939 M Bicolour Black Gray and Dark Blue Metallic M Sport brakes highlight their dynamic characteristics.

The i5 performance is supported by a single electric motor at the back which is capable of producing 340 dk of power and 430 Nm of torque. This car can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/hour within 6 seconds with a maximum speed of 193 km/hour.

In addition, i5 is powered by an 81.2 kWh battery that allows the car to cover a distance of up to 582 km based on the WLTP value.

Now, BMW Group Indonesia sells the X7 xDrive40i M Sport model for IDR 2.457 billion and the i5 eDrive40 M Sport worth IDR 2.177 billion. All prices include off-the-road and are available through the BMW Authorized Dealership network throughout Indonesia.
