Police Arrested By Residents For Stealing Palm Oil In Rohul Riau Patsus

PEKANBARU - Rokan Hulu Resort Police, Riau, arrested a police officer with the initials Bripka E (39) because he was caught by residents for stealing palm oil in Rambah Village, Rambah Hilir District.

Rokan Hulu Police Chief AKBP Budi Setiyono said Bripka E was caught by residents while transporting palm oil from the garden and raising it into a car.

"Seeing this, residents immediately gathered and arrested the perpetrators. The perpetrators were then taken to the Rambah Hilir Police," he said, quoted by ANTARA, Friday, October 4.

The police have conducted a case against the theft case and the loss is less than Rp. 2 million. Even so, his party is still processing the case.

"Currently, we have carried out special placements in the person concerned," said AKBP Budi.

Based on the results of the examination, the perpetrator admitted that the stolen goods were used for the cost of daily life. In addition, Bripka E is known to have made frequent mistakes in his profession as a police officer and has been convicted.

"The person concerned is indeed in trouble. We have demoted him. If the mechanism is dishonorable dismissal, we will PTDH (disrespectful dismissal). The Rohul Police ensures that if there are members with problems, we will take firm action," he said.
