Gondang And Tortor Welcome Visitors To Synchronize Fest 2024
JAKARTA - The first day of Synchronize Fest 2024 with the theme 'Together Together' was held at Gambir Expo Kemayoran, Central Jakarta on Friday, October 4. Since the afternoon, thousands of visitors have been changing to enter the festival area.
At the main gate, visitors are presented with the game Gondang Batak, a type of traditional music from Tanah Toba in North Sumatra.
The group with the name Orkes Gondang was presented by the organizers, showing how Synchronize Fest is a music event that cares about the Indonesian music ecosystem, without exception.
The Gondang orchestra which welcomes Saut Gultom (sulim), Iwan (taganing), Makwin (ogung), and Ando Falam (electric bass). Their performance is even more complete with the presence of a female tor dancer, Aulia.
"We as cultural conservationists are very proud to be involved here," said Iwan.
"Hopefully through this Synchronize Fest, culture will be preserved again. This proves that our culture can go anywhere," continued Iwan.
The presence of the Gondang Orchestra attracted the attention of visitors. Some of them seem to stop to enjoy the strains of gongdang and capture it on their cellphones.

Meanwhile, Synchronize Fest 2024 which was held on an area of 2.26 hectares, presents eight stages and more than 50 line-ups featuring the country's best musicians.
Three special appearances came on the first day, namely ERWIN GUTAWA ORCHESTRA: BADAI PASTI BERLALU; BRANG BRENG BRONG: BENYAMIN MADE KETRIBUTAN, AND NIKE ARDILLA LIVE TOGETHER.
In addition, there are several performers who also love to be missed, given the difficulty of re-floating their performances at a music event that offers a different atmosphere like Synchronize Fest.
Another line-up in question is TRISUM (Tohpati, Dewa Budjana, and Balawan); AK//47; JATIWANGI NATIONAL TEAM (TALAWENGKAR, Mother Bank, and LAIR); Bondan Prakoso & Fade2Black; Bebop Collective: Salon R&B, The Kick x The Jeblogs; and Arrington De Dionyso & Singo Sembrano.
In addition to all the names above, of course, the first day of Synchronize Festi 2024 also presents popular names that have recently enlivened major music festivals, such as Bernadya, Maliq & D'Escentials, Juicy Luicy ft. Adrian Khalif,.Feast, Lyodra, Guyon Waton, FLOAT, Type-X, Vierratale, Saykoji, FSTVLST, Nadhif Basalamah, and many more.
