Tulang Belulang Tulang Appreciated By Kemendikbudristek As Strengthening Culture In Films
JAKARTA - Tulang Belulang Tulang film received appreciation from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemendikbudristek) which is considered to prioritize cultural strengthening in films.
"This film is a clear proof of the success of the Indonesian Film program, which is committed to fostering and strengthening the film ecosystem in Indonesia," said Director General of Culture at the Ministry of Education and Culture, Hilmar Farid, quoted by VOI from a media broadcast in Jakarta, Thursday, October 3.
Not without reason, this film, which has been shown since September 26, has become the result of the 2021 Indonesian Film Incubation program, a workshop for writing film scenarios organized by the Directorate of Film, Music and Media, Directorate General of Culture of the Ministry of Education and Culture.
Where this film presents an interesting story inspired by the cultural tradition of Batak, North Sumatra, with a focus on family relations and their journey in the face of the situation.
"Through this program, we have seen the development of young filmmakers who are able to create quality works and are relevant to Indonesian culture. With a strong background on family values, Tulang Belulang Tulang presents a deep and very relevant story for our society," added Hilmar.
At the end of his sentence, Hilmar considers the film starring Atiqah Hasiholan, Tanta Ginting, David Saragih, Tasha Siahaan and others is not just entertainment.

"Conserving the film Tulang Belulang Tulang is not only entertainment, but also as a form of appreciation for local works that raise Indonesian culture," he said.
"I hope this film can make a significant contribution in strengthening the national film ecosystem, especially in encouraging the creativity of regional cinema," he said.
