Rumored To Be A Minister Of State Secretary In Prabowo's Cabinet, Muzani: Now I'm The Chair Of The MPR
JAKARTA - Secretary General (Secretary General) of the Gerindra Party Ahmad Muzani responded to the issue that he would become minister of state secretary (mensesneg) in the cabinet era of the Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka government.
Muzani emphasized that he has now been inaugurated as chairman of the MPR for the period 2024-2029 so that he is unlikely to become Prabowo's cabinet minister.
"Now I am the chairman of the MPR," said Muzani in response to questions from the media crew about his chance to become a minister at the DPR building, parliament complex, Senayan, Jakarta, last Thursday.
Muzani admitted that he and eight deputy chairmen of the MPR will focus on carrying out the duties of the MPR in the future. One of the big national agendas in the near future, he said, was the inauguration of Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka as president and vice president for the 2024-2029 period.
"The most important task for us is to prepare for the inauguration of the president and vice president which will take place on Sunday, October 20," said Muzani.
Gerindra is rumored to be getting four quotas for cabinet minister Prabowo-Gibran who will be occupied by its best cadres. Based on the rumors circulating, the four Gerindra Party cadres who will become ministers in the Prabowo-Gibran cabinet are the first, Ahmad Muzani, who will occupy the post of State Secretary.
