Michael Sianipar Officially Becomes Chairman Of The Indonesian Futsal Federation 2024-2028

JAKARTA Michael V. Sianipar was officially elected by acclamation to serve as General Chair of the Indonesian Futsal Federation (FFI) for the 2024-2028 term of service.

Michael as the sole candidate automatically rose to the top of the FFI leadership replacing Hary Tanoesoedibjo on Thursday, October 3, 2024, evening WIB.

"We come with a new spirit and new synergy to create better achievements. With the support of all parties, we believe that Indonesian futsal will be a force that is taken into account, both at the national and international levels," Michael said in a statement.

After being elected, Michael moved quickly by forming a team to help his work during this leadership period. He involved various elements to run the FFI wheels.

In carrying out his duties, Michael will be assisted by Deputy General Chairperson Atta Halilintar, Secretary General of Perbager, and General Treasurer Rorian Pratyaksa.

Those who fill the position on the Executive Committee to support organizational operations are Kawendra Lukistian, Herman, Andri Paranoan, Noersing, and Celni Pita Sari.

This board of directors asked former Chairman Hary Tanoesoedibjo to fill the strategic position as Chairman of the FFI Board of Trustees.

"I have a commitment, PSSI must be able to continue to be a unit for all Indonesian football, including encouraging futsal, national team (Futsal) Indonesia, to continue to increase its ranking in the world," said PSSI Chairman Erick Thohir.

Support was also given by the Minister of Youth and Sports (Menpora), Dito Ariotedjo. He stated that he would always coordinate with all sports to improve synergy and achievement.

"Both in terms of diplomacy, communication, and hands on to take care of the athletes and the organization itself."

"This is what we appreciate, hopefully in the future, with Mr. Erick, as the General Chair of PSSI, FFI will be stronger," he said.
