Israeli Military Announces Death Of 3 Senior Hamas Officials In Airstrikes In Gaza

JAKARTA - The Israeli military announced the deaths of three senior Hamas officials in an airstrike in Gaza three months ago.

The three men were identified as Rawi Mustahha, a confidant of the Hamas leader in Gaza Yehya Al-Sinwar, Sameh Al-Saraj, a senior security official and Sami Odeh, commander of the Hamas general security service.

"Mushtaha was involved in making military decisions while serving as head of the Hamas civil government on the Gaza Strip and holding a portfolio of prisoner affairs. He also previously held a financial portfolio," the Israeli military said.

Meanwhile, Gaza's Ministry of Health said Israeli military attacks killed 99 Palestinians across the region in the past 24 hours.

Earlier on Thursday, Israeli airstrikes in Gaza City killed five Palestinians, while another airstrike in Nuseirat killed one person and injured several others, medics said.
