Developer Delays Launch Of The Alternative Game Until Q1 2025
JAKARTA - Bit Studios announced it would delay the launch of its new survival game titled The Alters, from a previously planned 2024 release window to Q1 2025.
President of 11 Bit Studios, Przemyslaw Marszal, said in a press release that The Alters production schedule was very tight. Thus, he could not confirm that the game would be released on time.
"There is uncertainty whether the developer will have enough time to complete all the work in the quality we all expect. After years of production, the risk that games will have unnecessary shortcomings for us," Marszal said.
He said that the additional development time would be used to optimize all systems important for missions and ensure that every aspect of player travel is as smooth as possible.

When launched later, the game will be available to players on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, GOG, and Microsoft Store, as well as via Game Pass.
