The Personal Goods Of The Late Avicii Are Auctioned For Charity Needs
JAKARTA - The Bergling team, better known as Avicii, has been gone since six years ago, but its relics have proven to be useful for many people.
The Tim Bergling Foundation held an auction in Stockholm on October 1, which includes Avicii's personal belongings, such as clothes, musical instruments, and many other items belonging to the deceased related to his music.
The auction event was deliberately held in the city of the producer's birth, taking place at Auktionsverk, in front of many people with a total of 267 items being auctioned.
The auction of Swedish music producers managed to raise $750,000 (IDR 11.57 billion) and was donated to charities.
A representative from the auction house said that the offer came from more than 40 countries, with Fender Telecaster in 2015 being one of the best-selling items, selling for 240,000 SEZs, or about $23,000 (around Rp355 million).
Other high-price auctioned items include the acoustic guitar Martin Custom X Series, a pair of Sennhiser headphones, a Miami Marlins hat, and a genuine contact sheet of portrait Avicii by photographer Mark Seliger.

All the money collected was donated to the Bergling Foundation Team, which was founded after the suicide producer in 2018 and worked to raise awareness of mental health and suicide prevention among young people.
"It's nice to be able to make this big donation to the Bergling Foundation Team," said Cecilia Gave, CEO of Stockholm's Auktionsverk, citing Billboard, Thursday, October 3.
We are very pleased to see how The Avicii Collection has also attracted the interest of a younger audience. Many people in this hall have submitted their first auction bid today, and we feel very honored to be a part of it."
On the Reddit Avicii page, many fans shared comments about their purchases.
Someone admitted to buying a leather jacket that Avicii wore on the cover of the Stories album and at the American Music Awards wrote that the item was on its way to Paris. It will be protected and framed professionally and displayed in its music studio room at home.
