Lana Del Rey Involves Jack Antonoff In Tenth Studio Album Work, Lasso

JAKARTA - Lana Del Rey is known to be working on a new album with the title 'Lasso' which is planned to be released in 2025. This will be the tenth studio album since the debut of the self-titled album in 2010.

Music producer Jack Antonoff is known to have joined Lana's latest album. Jack has confirmed, although refusing to provide details about his involvement.

"We've done it... yes," said Jack Antonoff when asked if he and Lana were already in the studio together for the Lasso album, citing Rolling Stone, Thursday, October 3.

(It's) a story for another time. The reason why I don't talk about things until everything comes out is so compact, I want to let music be the first point of entry for people," he continued.

Jack feels it would be better for listeners when enjoying new songs with his own experience. Excessive stories for the work to come could ruin the experience.

"I don't want to rob anyone of experience in listening to it without context. Once you start talking about the work to come, you plant these seeds in people's heads," he said.

This time, Jack and Lana collaborated for the first time, bukna. The two of them collaborated in the 2019 Normanday Rockwell, then Chemtrains Over the Country Club in 2021, and Did You Know That There's a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd last year.

For information, Jack Antonoff has collaborated with many big names in the music industry, such as Taylor Swift, Kendrick Lamar, P!nk, Sara Bareilles, the 1975, Lorde, St. Vincent, Florence and the Machine, Sabrina Carpenter, Gracie Abrams, Fifth Harmony, Kevin Abstract, totaling Rae Jepsen, the Chicks, Tegan and Sara, and Clairo.
