JAKARTA - United States (US) President Joe Biden will participate in a phone call with G7 leaders today to discuss the situation in the Middle East.
Reported by CNN, Tuesday, October 2, the call comes as the US and its allies are awaiting news of how Israel plans to respond to Iranian missile attacks on Tuesday, October 1.
US officials said Iran would face "bad consequences" for the attack, and officials in the Biden administration continued to make regular contact with Israeli counterparts as they determined their next steps.
