Bioethenol Price Drops To IDR 14,144 Per Liter In October 2024
JAKARTA - The Directorate General of New, Renewable Energy and Energy Conservation (EBTKE) of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) set the Market Index (HIP) Price for Bioethenol Fuel (BBN) in October 2024 amounting to IDR 14,144 per liter.
Head of the Communication, Public Information Service and Cooperation Bureau of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, Agus Cahyono Adi, revealed that the decision on the price of the Biodiesel HIP was effective as of October 1, 2024, as stated in letter Number T-3763 / EK.05 / DJE.B / 2024 which was signed by the Director General of EBTKE Eniya Listiani Dewi on September 24, 2024.
"The price of Bioethenol in October 2024 decreased by Rp794 when compared to September, where last month the price was Rp. 14,938 per liter," said Agus at the Office of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, Jakarta, Wednesday, October 2.

In calculating the price of HIP BBN Bioethenol, using the predetermined formula, namely (The average price of cane cane KPB for the period 3 months x 4,125 kg/L) + 0.25 US dollars/L. With the average price of cane cane cane KPB for the period 15 June - 14 September 2024, which is IDR 2,489/kg.
Meanwhile, the exchange rate used refers to the Bank Indonesia middle rate during the exchange rate period from August 15 to September 14, 2024, amounting to Rp15,504. So that the price of HIP BBN Bioethenol in October is set at Rp14,144 per liter.
