JAKARTA - Social media was enlivened with a video of a man who was said to have destroyed a guitar signed by Taylor Swift obtained from an auction.
The incident was revealed through the account X @Dexerto which uploaded a 25-second video, where a man broke the guitar.
A man broke Taylor Swift's signed guitar after paying $4000 at auction, wrote @Dexerto, citing his post caption on Tuesday, October 1.
In the video, the winner of the auction is seen approaching the organizers. He also received a guitar as well as a hammer, then broke the guitar body with the hammer.
The winner of the auction had wanted to slam the special guitar, but it was stopped by the organizers. Reportedly he is a Trump supporter who tried to fight Taylor Swift who supported Kamala Harris.

During the destruction of the guitar, the man was seen laughing, and there were clear cheers and applause from other bidders.
NME reported that the auction took place at an event called the Ellis County Wild Game Dinner, which was held outside Dallas, Texas on Sunday, September 29 local time.
During the event, an Eras Tour-themed guitar signed by Taylor Swift was one of the valuables auctioned.
