AC Milan Stars Participate In Eliano Reijnders' Official Response To Indonesian Citizen Status
Eliano Reijnders has officially assumed the status of an Indonesian citizen (WNI) after the oath-taking process in Belga on Monday, September 30, 2024, evening WIB. Eliano's new status was then responded to by AC Milan star player, Tijjani Reijnders.
The footballer who plays in Serie A is Eliano's older brother. Both of them chose their way of life as professional footballers, even though Tijjani's career had increased earlier than his younger brother.
The Maluku-blooded midfielder first won the trust in defending the Dutch national team since 2023. Meanwhile, Eliano is currently playing for PEC Zwolle at the Eredivisie.
Although these brothers have different life choices, Tijjani fully supports Eliano, who is now officially an Indonesian citizen and has the opportunity to defend the Indonesian national team.

Tijjani Reijnders' support for his younger brother was shown through uploads on his social media account. In a short video, Tijjani shows the moment his younger brother and Mees Hilgers had in a photo shoot wearing the Indonesian national team jersey.
Eliano at that time wore jersey number 7 while Hilgers got number 20.
Accompanied the upload, not much was written by Tijjani. He only added facial emojis with star eyes and arm muscles indicating enthusiasm and mentioning his younger brother's account.
After undergoing the Indonesian oath, Eliano was just waiting for his personal file to be submitted by PSSI to FIFA. This is for the transfer of associations from the Netherlands (KNVB) to Indonesia (PSSI) to mark that Eliano was able to defend the Indonesian national team.
Eliano is not alone, together with Mees Hilgers, both of them were deliberately naturalized by PSSI to strengthen the Indonesian national team.
The Garuda squad is currently in preparation to face Bahrain and China on October 10 and 15, 2024 in the Third Round of 2026 World Cup Qualifiers.
