Erik Ten Hag At The Edge Of The Horn, Given The Opportunity For Two Matches
JAKARTA - Erik ten Hag's fate at Manchester United was precarious after a crushing defeat to Tottenham Hotspor 0-3 in the sixth week of the 2024/2025 Premier League, Sunday, September 29, 2024.
The Dutch manager has been pressured to step down by supporters because he has only won seven points from six matches, two wins, one draw, and three defeats.
The Sun even reported that Ten Hag's fate was on the brink. He was only given two games to save his seat at Old Trafford.
The two matches in question are the away party against Porto in the Europa League and Aston Villa in the Premier League.

However, Ten Hag did not seem to heed the pressure that led to him. You see, he still believes Manchester United officials are still in the deal last summer.
"I didn't think about this (loss work). We all made decisions in the summer to stay together."
"We also made decisions from clear reviews of what we have to improve and how we want to build the squad," said Ten Hag.
Furthermore, Ten Hag has a reason why Manchester United's performance is still inconsistent. He asked the public to be patient.
"We knew it would take time. How the transfer window runs, some players arrive late, like (Manuel) Ugarte."
"We also have to make some improvements in the (intensive) organization. We are still experiencing some injuries, we need time."
"We are all on the same page or on the same ship together, ownership, staff and players as well. I have no concern it (loss work)," said Ten Hag.
Meanwhile, the results of the minor against Spurs became the peak of the fans' anger for extending the score without a win in three consecutive matches in all competitions.
Moreover, the party against Tottenham made the Red Devils lose Bruno Fernandes who got a red card.
Kobbie Mainoo also suffered an injury in the first half so it had to be withdrawn before halftime.
"I can't say right now. I have to find out, but of course when a player comes out before the break, then there are some concerns," Ten Hag said in response to losing Mainoo.
Before losing against Spurs, Manchester United drew 1-1 against FC Twenty in the Europa League at Old Trafford.
Then, the Red Devils also only got one point when they visited Crystal Palace headquarters.
