The Affordable Electricity Sedan Collaboration Of Dongfeng And Honda Launches In China, Here Are The Specifications

JAKARTA - The sedan market in China has a new challenger from the collaboration of Dongfeng and Honda. The collaborative model is Lingxi L, which is the first model of the brand.

Quoting from the CNevpost page, September 30, the electric sedan became the first model to be born from the Lingxi brand and priced at 129,000 yuan or around Rp279 million.

In design, this one car adopts a two-color body design featuring a closed grip, the front lights are all vertical-shaped LEDs that make it look modern. In terms of dimensions, it comes with a length of 4,830 mm, a width of 1,845 mm, and a height of 1,503 mm, and a wheelbase of 2,731 mm.

Entering the cabin, Lingxi L comes with a modern feel, just like the presence of a fairly long screen and a digital mirror is also an added value in this one model. From the wheelside of the wheel, it can be seen that there are still many physical buttons that help users to control the car.

Lingxi L is powered by a single motorbike installed in front with 160 kW of power and 310 Nm of torque, and is able to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/hour within 6.9 seconds, for the highest speed it reaches 160 km/hour.

The model is powered by a lithium iron phosphate battery package with a capacity of 59.22 kWh supplied by BYD and has a CLTC range of 520 kilometers. Consumption of electricity of 12.9 kWh for every 100 kilometers of travel.

Lingxi L comes with digital exterior rearview mirrors, a rare feature in this segment. Both screens used to display mirror images are connected to three dashboard screens.

The car is equipped with a Lingxi Drive smart drive system that integrates 14 driving assistance features, including adaptive cruising control, automatic parking, 360-degree panoramic video, transparent chassis, and pathkeeper assistance.

By 2025, Dongfeng Honda will have more than 50 percent of its products using electricity, with a cumulative total of more than 10 all-electric models by 2030. Lingxi L is one of the main models launched by the joint venture of the two in China and many more models will be presented.
