President Director Of PT Inalum Danny Praditya And PGN Officials Worked On By KPK

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has scheduled the examination of four witnesses related to allegations of corruption within PT Perusahaan Gas Negara (PGN) today, Monday, September 30.

One of those who were asked to attend was Danny Praditya as Director of PT Indonesia Asahan Alumnum (Inalum) who served as Commercial Director of PT PGN in 2017.

"The examination was carried out at the KPK's Red and White Building on behalf of the DP as the Commercial Director of PT Perusahaan Gas Negara in 2017 and the President Director of PT Inalum until now," said KPK Spokesperson Tessa Mahardika to reporters in a written statement, Monday, September 30.

Meanwhile, other witnesses were called Tessa with the initials NS, CS, and SM. As for the information obtained, they are the Finance Director of PT PGN in 2017, Nusantara Suyono; Group Head of Accounting and Tax of PT PGN, Chandra Simarmata and Group Head Corporate Finance of PT PGN, Syahril Malik.

Previously reported, the KPK named two people as suspects in alleged corruption related to the cooperation in the sale and purchase of PT PGN gas with PT Inti Alasindo Energi (IAE). Their information is Danny Praditya, who is the commercial director of PT PGN for the 2016'2019 period, who is also the former president director of PT Indonesia Asahan Aluminum (Inalum).

While the other suspect is Iswan Ibrahim who is the main director of PT Isar Gas. The investigation into this case began with an audit by the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) which found state losses.

The KPK has conducted searches related to this case on June 19-20. This forced effort was carried out in a number of locations, such as in AM's private house as a former PT PGN employee, HJ's private house as a former PT PGN employee, and DSW's house as a former director of PT PGN.

At that time, KPK investigators found evidence related to this case. Among them are documents related to the sale and purchase of gas to electronic evidence.
