After Down For Two Hours, Spotify Service Back Online

JAKARTA - Spotify announced that its music and audio streaming services are back online, having previously reportedly experienced a bit of service problems.

In his latest X post, Spotify's account posted on Sunday, September 29 saying everything was getting better, after Spotify confirmed on the same day that there were user reports related to the app and its web player having problems.

The problem arose at around 11 AM local time, and according to Downdetector this problem lasted for approximately two hours.

Meanwhile, Downdetector's comment section turned out to be an out of control group chat. Some users claim to have had problems with the web player around 13.15, but everything seems to have been resolved by now.

Based on VOI's monitoring on the Downdetector page, many users have complained about the problem. One of the @XArthurDent accounts says this service disruption has an impact on at least 40,000 Spotify users, especially in the United States.

"Users face difficulties with desktop and mobile apps, experience error messages and can't play music or access podcasts," he wrote.
