Receive Revocation Of TAP MPR II/2001, Wife Of Gus Dur Sambangi Senayan
JAKARTA - The wife of the 4th President of the Republic of Indonesia Abdurrahman Wahid alias Gus Dur, Sinta Nuriyah, visited the MPR/DPR/DPD RI Building. His arrival was to receive the MPR Decree (TAP) Number II/MPR/2001 concerning the Accountability of President Abdurrahman Wahid which contained the dismissal as president.
Sinta, who was accompanied by her daughter, Yenny Wahid, and her children and family arrived at the Parliament Complex, at 11.00 WIB, Sunday, September 29.
The two of them headed to the Nusantara IV MPR RI Delegation Room. A number of MPR leaders were also present to welcome the arrival of Sinta and Yenny.
"We emphasize that the TAP MPR Number II of 2001 is no longer valid, therefore all legal implications have fallen by itself," said Chairman of the MPR RI Bambang Soesatyo, confiscated by Antara.

He said the decision to no longer apply to the TAP MPR was supported by all political party factions in the MPR. According to him, Gus Dur is an inspiring, visionary, and humorous figure of the nation's leader.
"As a national figure, Gus Dur makes humor a striking criticism. It will feel bitter and bitter for those who are targeted, but relevant to the people who are represented by their aspirations," said Bamsoet.
With the stipulation letter that the TAP MPR no longer applies to Gus Dur, he also hopes that the MPR can encourage the government so that the President, nicknamed the Father of Pluralism, can receive an award.
Previously, the MPR RI had also given the same thing to President Soekarno by emphasizing that the TAP MPRS Number XXXIII/MPRS/1967 concerning the Revocation of the Government's Power from President Soekarno was no longer valid.
In addition, the Indonesian People's Consultative Assembly also did the same for President Soehato through the adjustment of the MPR TAP Number 11 of 1998 concerning the Clean and Free Government of the KKN, which revoked Suharto's name.
