The Israeli Military Calls Air Attacks Claimed To Kill Hezbollah Leader Nasrallah Coded "New Order"
JAKARTA - Israeli Chief of Staff Defense Forces (IDF) Lt. Gen. Herzi Halevi said the death of Hezbollah Leader Hassan Nasrallah was a simple message, Israel was able to find and reach those who posed threats.
"This is not the end of the existing equipment. The message is simple, to anyone who threatens Israeli citizens, we will know how to reach them," he said, quoted from The Times of Israel September 28.
As previously reported, the Israeli military claimed Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasollah was killed along with Hezbollah commander in airstrikes on Friday in Beirut, Lebanon.
"Hassan Nasrallah, the leader of the terrorist organization Hezbollah and one of its founders, was removed by the IDF, along with Ali Karki, Commander of the South Front Hezbollah, and additional commander Hezbollah," the IDF said as quoted by CNN.
The IDF operation to kill the leader of the Lebanese militant group was named "New Order," the military said.
The military released images from the Israeli Air Force underground command center during an air strike in Beirut yesterday.

Israeli Air Force jets carried out targeted attacks on the headquarters of the Hezbollah organization, which is located underground under a residential building in the Dahiyeh area of Beirut.
"The attack was carried out when Hezbollah's senior command chain operated from its headquarters and launched terrorist activity against Israeli citizens," the Israeli military said.
